These are based on several different ideas on pinterest. When they are done I think they will have the honeycomb mustard cables on them. We will see if I can figure it out.
My research on rebranding has turned up many little details I'd never stopped to consider. There are so many tiny choices I neglected before that seem much more important this time around. I am hoping the NEW Dapple Apple will be more professional, organized, and better represent the business owner I am trying to be.
Until tomorrow, here are the top two contenders for my new logo font. I have to pick the new font before I draw the new logo, so here they are in the old one.
Well, the past year and a half has been a time of change and transition. Since my last post in January of 2014, I have lost my full time job, gotten pregnant, spent seven months in bed with the worst "morning sickness" ever, had an amazing son, and have been working full time at being a better wife and mother.
Since my last post, my business has transitioned as well. I have added more sewn items, more baby items, and I am working to expand my classes to include Crochet Workshops, Digital Classes, and Crafting & Maker Parties. I hope to have that portion of my business operational by early October.
As I move into working at The Dapple Apple again full-time, I will have some exciting giveaways, some free crochet class opportunities, and more! Stay tuned for more exciting things in the online shop, for more photos of my new line of tote and bags, and for party and class pricing information!
As I eluded to yesterday, I'm implementing some changes that will help make 2014 The Dapple Apple's best year yet!
These classes are $20 a lesson and all you need to bring is your computer, your ideas, and a positive attitude!
Check back tomorrow for a new post on making a cowl!
With the New Year's Resolutions, I decided that simplicity is the key to success.
So, my business resolutions are:
To make those two simple things happen, I will need to focus more on the end result instead of getting caught up in the details. I have to get organized and look for time saving solutions. Let's see how this goes!
It isn't that I don't have anything to say, it is simply that I find myself too busy to sit down and type up everything that is going on with The Dapple Apple.
Between working a normal job, crocheting all the things, making all the jewelry, and doing all of the chores of daily life, I seldom find the time to update. I am hoping to change that in the coming months as I prioritize my time & shift more efforts into my business.
Is there anything that you would like to know more about?
Are there any topics you would like to see covered here on the site?
Coming soon I hope to have a weekly blog about crochet inspirations, another about crocheting (with tips and free patterns), another about current projects, and several more.
While I am working on these things, please check out my facebook page, my twitter feed, & please forgive my silence here...
I don't know if I am done editing all of the wonderful options and such here at the Dapple Apple website, but I finally have found a web interface that works well for me!
That said, I am spending less time trying to learn code and more time working on the crochet projects that I've been putting off.
I am starting to teach beginner workshops, private lessons, and more. I have made some instructional hand outs, basic learning lists, and and working on sample pieces and beginners patterns.
Stay tuned for more cool announcements, content, and pictures coming soon!
